That’s a story from abandoned Pepsi factory in Cambodia.

This factory was built in 1960s when the first industry exports began mania began.

Then in 1975 the “Red Khmers” took over Cambodia. Those were extreme commies

and they couldn’t just tolerate any of the “capitalist bastards” doing business on their freshly conquered or liberated as they say land.

So all pepsi staff fled away from Red Cambodia. Those who couldn’t run were captured by khmers and were sent to work on rice fields (that’s way better than this capitalistic soda!) at least this what they thought probably.

The factory itself was closed and everything stays there like it was 35 years ago – even the empty bottles were left in lines waiting to be filled.

So that’s an unique chance to see how something looking exactly the same as in 1975.
